Introduction

JMH Therapy physiotherapists are all Chartered Physiotherapists, and have registration with the Health Professions Council. All the staff have membership of their professional body.


JMH Therapy staff continue their professional development with post-graduate courses, regular peer review and reflective practice.
Our physiotherapists are registered as BUPA providers. We also have other Health Care insurance provider cover - contact us for details.
Each member of staff has experience of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, but also has their own particular area of interest and experience.

Jenny Heron MCSP BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

Jenny Heron Chartered Physiotherapist

Jenny Heron is the director of JMH Therapy Ltd which she founded in 2000. Initially based in Kirkstall, the practice moved to its current location in 2004. Jenny qualified from Sheffield Hallam University in 1996 and has worked in private practice since 1998. She qualified as a Modern Pilates instructor in 2001 and completed a PGCE teaching qualification in 2004, now teaching on Modern Pilates training courses.

Jenny has wide experience in the treatment of sports injuries and has worked as head physiotherapist with several professional sports teams including Leeds Tykes and Leeds Rhinos Rugby Teams. She is a keen runner and mountain biker herself and understands the desire of the sportsman to get back to activity as soon as possible.

Jenny also specialises in the treatment of pre and post natal women both with physiotherapy and Pilates based rehabilitation exercise since training with The Pelvic Partnership in 2005.


Sally Mason MCSP BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

Sally Mason Chartered Physiotherapist

Sally qualified at the University of Bradford in 2000, after gaining a degree in Psychology and Neurology at the University of Manchester.

Sally quickly worked her way up to Senior Physiotherapist in MusculoSkeletal Physiotherapy in a Leeds Primary Care Trust and also gained experience in Sports Rehabilitation as physiotherapist for Harrogate RFU Club for several years.

Sally is working towards an MSc in Physiotherapy with modules in Spinal and Peripheral Mobilisations






Becky Wade
BSc (Hons) Sports
Rehabilitation

Becky Wade. Modern Pilates Instructor and Sports Rehabilitation

Becky qualified in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation. She also has a degree in Sports Science.

Since qualifying Becky has worked within professional sports, gaining wide knowledge and experience of sports injuries. She has worked for Rotherham Titans RUFC and has continued to develop her sports injuries expertise at Harrogate and Sandal RUFC. Becky also spent two seasons with Leeds United Ladies FC.

Becky also works in private practice and is a qualified Modern Pilates Instructor. Becky is a member of the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers.
